The 1892 Sanborn labels 'G. F. GRANGER BREWER & MALTSTER' on the block NW of Broadway and 4th Ave. That confirms the Tavern Trove address with a primary map. One block north, between Cherry and Bassett Sts., the same sheet shows 'STORY BROS. MALTSTERS', which links the Story name to the neighborhood (see places). The pin is the centre of the Granger block, offset from the OSM Broadway/4th Ave. intersection (42.637821, -73.753357).
